The exhibition celebrates technological innovation in the world of industrial ceramics across an area of 1,500 square metres.
The use of innovative and unconventional materials creates a striking element of surprise, powerfully communicating the themes of the exhibition, which is presented as an immersive environment divided into different areas, identifiable through the “chromatic sectors” radiating from the centre of the surface.
The collection and coordination of all the contents provide futuristic, artistic and technical design stimuli for industrial ceramic thinking: the avant-garde developments linked to ceramic 3D printing; the strong contribution of artistic ceramics selected from the MIC Faenza archives; the design experiments by IED and the Tecnargilla Design Award; and a historical overview of pieces that have shaped the history of ceramic design.
Each area is an exploded “fragment” of the incredible ceramic universe!
